Welcome to our website! On behalf of the people of Saint John's Cathedral, I extend to you a warm welcome. We are both a diocesan cathedral and a parish family; a downtown church with a long history of community involvement and leadership. Ours is a vibrant community of pilgrims; a diverse, and mission-focused body of Christ whose members strive mightily to live and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We call ourselves the church "in the heart of the city, with the city in its heart" because of our commitment to ministry and service in the urban core of Jacksonville. At Saint John's, we look after one another through our comprehensive programs of pastoral care. We work together to offer God's love to our neighbors near and far through extensive outreach and missions. We journey together into deepening relationship with Christ through our Christian formation offerings for all ages. We worship together with beautiful liturgy and music, in praise and thanksgiving to almighty God. We pray and play together. There is something for everyone at Saint John's, and everyone is welcome.
