October’s Big Idea: “Stand firm with the Breastplate of Righteousness in place” Ephesians 6:14. This piece of the Armor of God protects our heart.  One way we can protect our heart is by confessing any sin we have, or saying sorry to God for things we've done wrong.  This month, ask a Sunday school student for other ways to protect our hearts.

Calendar of Events:

October 7^th: Family Fellowship (6pm)-Join us for some intergenerational activities as we look at Saints.  We will also finish the Baptism Banner, so bring your scrap fabrics along.

October 21^st: Family Fellowship (6pm)-A celebration of fall!  Please bring a pumpkin for your family to either carve or decorate with paint.

November 1^st: Youth Group-We will fill our shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  Come join us for this important outreach event!

The bulletin board in the Preschool Wing has all kinds of interesting information.  Have you forgotten which week you were scheduled for Sunday school?  The gold stars on the bulleting board will let you know what date you are scheduled for and which group you will be teaching.

You can also find a list of birthdays for the month.  Just look for the balloons on the bulletin board!
