Thank you for visiting the Episcopal Diocese of Florida's website.
The Episcopal Diocese of Florida was founded in 1838 as the entire state of Florida. Today, our diocese consists of 25 counties in Northern Florida. Our parishes and congregations stretch from the Apalachicola River in the western part of our diocese to the Atlantic Ocean, and from the Georgia border to the Palm Coast region.
I hope that you find that which you are searching for on this site; and if you visit one of our 77 congregations you will encounter the love of Christ and the fellowship of those who follow him.
The Rt. Rev. Samuel Johnson Howard, Bishop of Florida
“I have a vision for the Cerveney Conference Center at Camp Weed, …that it becomes more and more an educational, spiritual center for our diocese.” Bishop Howard’s Convention Address, 2007
Seeking to fulfill this vision the Diocesan Center for Christian Living(DCCL) will offer programs designed to further and enrich the life of every parish and individual in the Diocese of Florida. Seeking Christian wholeness and balance, each program will embrace care for the body, mind and spirit.
The Diocesan Communications Commission is working to improve the communications within the Diocese and would like your feedback on communications within your Parish or Mission. Please take the time to complete the following questionnaire by clicking below.
